Clinical A.I. Engine (Artificial Intelligence): The engine driving TheraSim 360 is a powerful, cloud-based, artificial intelligence engine with more than one million clinical rules informing the system. The A.I. Engine models and tracks clinical measures, evaluates treatment paths to detect error, informs users of best practices, and provides e-Mentoring to users to close skill gaps as well as tracks clinical decision in our data warehouse.
The A.I. is comprised of:
Inference Engine – this engine is triggered when a user makes a decision in the system. The engine runs through every rule in the A.I. to know which rule(s) need to fire in order to assess performance and provide feedback.
Knowledge Base – this part of the brain houses all of the rules that the A.I. has been taught. The A.I. can call on these rules at any point in the simulation. The rules come from prescribing information, disease guidelines and other sources of best practices and reference material.
Rule Authoring – this is our translation tool to take medical expertise and educate the A.I. engine. It is a drag and drop Boolean logic system that allows non-technical and non-medical experts to ‘teach’ the A.I. system.
Content Creation Tools – “Content is king.” TheraSim 360 provides hundreds of patient cases for users to interact with and learn from as well as cutting edge tools to support the rapid development of new cases.
Cases – this represents over 7 years of work and content creation – currently available cases span 19 therapeutic areas and 50 indications.
Case Authoring – this is the secret behind TheraSim’s delivery speed – a case authoring tool that can take case content to simulation in a matter of hours. This tool allows TheraSim experts to bring your learning objectives to life with a few clicks. No need to program every step, decision trigger or outcome – the case authoring hooked to the A.I. will handle those details.
Analytics Harness –TheraSim Metrics is the capstone of all simulation activity – providing users and administrators real-time data about performance.
Dashboard – similar to your car’s dashboard this provides you with real-time data on how you or your users are performing against the competencies outlined for each case or scenario. It tracks and reports on every action the user makes in the system. These details and predictive clinical performance metrics are unique in the industry.
Data Warehouse – these are the memories of the system – it’s where every user decision, on every case, together with the A.I. analysis of that decision is logged and held for reporting on the dashboard.
